Brad and Megan reached out to me to capture their first days with their beautiful baby girl. I was in awe of how sweet and sleepy baby R was, and how much she loved being swaddled. I loved studying her tiny features- her beautiful little bow of a mouth, her tiny fingers and whispy black hair. Mommy and Daddy are both musicians- Daddy is a saxophone player and mom is a vocal artist and both teach music. I think Miss R is their greatest work of art yet.
Can I just start off by saying how much I adore this family? What could be more adorable than a perfectly sweet little family of four welcoming a new little baby girl. Big sister and brother were so curious and so careful with their new tiny sister.
Mom and Dad held their baby girl and I could see them overflowing with love for her. Every moment with this sweet family was so full of laughter and love. It totally made my week to be able to spend the evening with them!
Welcome to the big world, Miller.
Oh those sweet yummy baby toes! How I love them.
Miller was such a great sleepy baby. We had so much fun getting snuggled into all kinds of fun poses.
He squished up and fit really well in the baseball glove!
Oh my word, what a sweet teddy bear. He just takes my breath away.
I love all the little details of newborns- their sweet smells, the way they curl up like they were in the womb, and even the flakiness of their newborn skin. Such sweet details change so quickly, and every month is different.
I love this sweet sleepy little guy. He was just as cozy as can be, all curled up and sleeping soundly.
And the most proud and helpful big brother ever!
Aren't these two boys just precious? I can already see them getting into mischief in a few years. Mud puddles, sneaking cookies, playing ball... you know, brotherly things like that.
Welcome sweet boy.
