This gorgeous family made my evening so perfect! They will soon be welcoming a precious new life and wanted to document their first family portraits, and likely their last- as a family of three. We chose the Farm location because mom requested a gorgeous grassy field with beautiful golden light. Once again, this location proved to be perfect. Lots of room for little Miss to explore and for the family to enjoy soaking up the sun together in the last remaining weeks as a family of four.
One of my most beloved families came to me to do an extended family session. I've been photographing sweet Linc since he was 4 months old, and he is celebrating his first birthday! We selected the gorgeous Farm location in Woodstock for their session so we would have plenty of room to roam and explore together.
It proved to be the perfect location for the little man to safely explore and lots of gorgeous green grass. Grandma and Grandpa loved every minute snuggling with him too!
Spring has finally made its way here to Georgia! After several attempts to reschedule our session due to rain, we finally got a beautiful evening- And, let me tell you- it was worth the wait!
There is absolutely no place like this private farm in Woodstock for a little boy to explore. We picked flowers for mommy, sang and danced, found "secret" trails and even got to play on the tractor after we finished our session.
We had such a great evening together, and I am so happy that this sweet family chose me to take their very first ever family portraits! We couldn't have had a more beautiful location or day for our adventure. And I am pretty sure a certain little boy slept very well that night after logging miles of smiles!
May has been a very busy month for us- We've had the opportunity to photograph so many beautiful families and capture so many fun moments. This is a family that has been with me for a long time- Since little man was born! How I love seeing my little clients grow and change year after year. We went to one of my most favorite locations, Downtown Canton. I love the connection we captured. What personality! A few candids, just kids enjoying the afternoon with each other and having fun.
Gorgeous mama-to-be and sweet anticipation of meeting her beautiful daughter.
Little one, you are so loved.
Is there any sweeter joy than a new baby? I had the pleasure of welcoming this beautiful family into my studio and capturing so many tender moments with their new son. Big brother was so happy with his new little buddy. Sweet newness and tiny little details...
I love the little tiny baby fingernails and sweet pouty little lips.
Natural, baby-led posing for newborns that capture the emotional connection of each family.
Snuggled and sleeping soundly. Welcome to the big, wide world, Baby A.
Yay for Fall! It is finally here. After this super hot summer that we have had, I am ready to pull out the jeans and boots and eat everything pumpkin. Who is with me?
Barry is celebrating his second birthday in October, and mom wanted to have a fun session that includes all the things Barry loves and some sweet snuggles with her.
Well, the snuggling part was easy, since he loves his mama.
Maybe it's because I have a sweet two year old son myself, but I cannot resist Momma-Son portraits.
I just *love* it when little boys snuggle their mamas. Nothing like it.
I found out very quickly that Barry loves trucks. He enjoyed playing with my trucks while we sang and acted silly (and maybe a few Smarties candies were involved as well-- just sayin')
And the wagon. All the boys love the wagon!
This wagon is truely vintage. It belonged to my husband when he was a little boy, decades ago.
His mom refinished it so that our son can play with it too. See, I have a theme going here- Mommas and Sons. <3 Gotta love that!
Fall is all about apples and pumpkins and beautiful leaves.
So why not put an apple in your truck?
Picking buttercups for Mom. <3
And... we wore him out. This was the last capture, and one of the sweetest shots of the session. Mom is carrying Barry back to the car and then this happened. I love the sweetness of just everyday life.
It's all good, ya'll.
A windy first day of spring for this family as we headed to downtown Woodstock for some family portraits!
I absolutely loved the personality in wrapped up in these children.
My goodness, what cuteness!
Daddy's girl, wouldn't you say?
Peek-a-boo gets a smile every time!
